Melissa Rotary Club was honored to receive the Melissa Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year Award, recognizing the club’s ongoing commitment to service and community impact. The award was presented at our February 5, 2026 business meeting, celebrating the collective efforts of Rotary members who consistently live out the motto Service Above Self.
Dana Conklin accepted the award on behalf of the club. The presentation was made by Sandi Hill, Melissa Chamber Ambassador Director, who thanked Melissa Rotary for its dedication, leadership, and countless volunteer hours supporting community initiatives throughout the year.
In addition to the Chamber recognition, Melissa Rotary also received a certificate of appreciation from Congressman Keith Self, further acknowledging the club’s positive contributions and service to the community.
This recognition reflects the hard work and heart of Melissa Rotary members and reinforces the club’s role as true People of Action, making a difference locally while supporting Rotary’s mission around the world.
