The Rotary Club of Melissa once again sponsored a successful Carter BloodCare of Texas blood drive on December 9th. Upcoming Melissa Rotary - Carter BloodCare drives will be Feb 10, Apr 13, Jun 15, 2024.The Melissa Rotary Club Service Committee supports the publicity and arranges the location (the Melissa United Methodist Church) in a bi-monthly blood drive campaign for 2023-2024, working with Carter BloodCare to collect much needed blood for Texans who need it.
On December 9th, in addition to regular sign-ups online, there were 6 walk-ins, most likely due to the club's Public Image Committee posting signs in the community and posts on Facebook.
