Jennifer Shelton is our guest speaker from Real Options. Real Options is a 501c3 Christian organization that has served Collin County since 1986. This organization provides pregnancy testing, STI screening, ultrasounds, peer and professional counseling, sexual risk avoidance education and abortion recovery groups. All of Real Options services are completely free of charge. The mission of Real Options is to empower women, men and students to make physical, emotional and spiritual choices that affirm life and health. Our goal is to serve anyone in our community who are in need our our services.
Andrea Strickland gave her classification talk. She is from a small town in Montana where her family was active in service to the community. She married and moved to Texas where her husband worked for the power company. She applied for a job there and could not believe she would be paid for walking and talking to people. She was introduced to Rotary by her trainer from Richardson.
The club voted to approve the proposed bylaws amendments. The revised bylaws will be paced in the document library.
Ken and Dana presented Brian Kirkpatrick as the new Paul Harris member taking advantage of the Foundation incentive program 500 points.
John Cave introduced the new 2026-27 Board.
Dawn reported that the RYLA campers have been chosen and the scholarship applications are due at the end of the week.
