Melissa Rotary Hosts 2026 State of the City Address
Melissa Rotary has invited the community to attend the 2026 State of the City Address presented by Jay Northcut, Mayor of Melissa.
This public program provides residents with an opportunity to hear important updates on the city’s progress, key priorities, and future plans. Attendees will gain insight into ongoing initiatives, community growth, and the vision guiding Melissa’s continued development.
By hosting this annual address, Melissa Rotary reinforces its commitment to fostering an informed and engaged community. The club encourages all members and residents to attend, learn more about their city, and participate in the shared future of Melissa.
Mary Williams presented a PowerPoint highlighting the Early Act program at East Cardinal Middle School. Early Act serves as a precursor to Interact and introduces students to the principles of service and leadership at a young age. As a social service club, Early Act provides opportunities for students to develop leadership skills, practice public speaking, build confidence in relationships, and strengthen their character while making a positive impact in their school and community.
